If you are a business owner, you are well aware of how difficult it can be to motivate your employees or team members as a manager. In fact, various forms such as higher salary, stock options, or even simple buying lunch for the team have been used in many corporations to keep workers happy and motivated while working.
Many of us tend to think more money will do the job, but does money really motivate employees?
No doubt! However, it can be only shown as a short-term solution as people are looking for something meaningful from their work other than just financial rewards. Especially, with this economy, it is necessary to find creative ways to motivate workers that wont cost the company a fortune.
Here are some suggestions for fun ways to motivate employees:

Token of Appreciation:
Not only this fun yet easy tactic will help with employee motivation, but it will also contribute to keeping a great work place environment with a little fun and creativity.
First, go to Powerpoint or any free design software available online, and draw a coin written “Token of Appreciation”. On the token, write these features: “Name:_________” and “Note: _______________”. Once the design is done, give out 2-3 tokens to each employee and let them know that they can give out their tokens to someone else whenever they receive work-related assistance, appreciation and workplace feedback.
At the end of each month, find out who received the most tokens and reward him/her with a $5 Starbucks giftcard or anything meaningful yet exciting.
Little projects like this contribute to the mental health of each dedicated worker, especially those looking for workplace solitude in these troubling times.
